The Record That Wrote Back

There are certain records that don’t just pass through your life—they stay.

I found Del Amitri in my early days in Athens, back before the phone in your pocket, when you had to be somewhere to hear something. That record became a soundtrack to a specific time, but it didn’t stay there. It followed me, changed meaning, and shaped how I hear songs and how I write them.

I recently had the chance to put that experience into words for TIDAL Magazine.
